In Rochester, New York, there's a popular bar with college students called the LUX. It was a tradition for college students to "take home" the LUX bar glasses, smuggled in their winter coats and purses. Seriously, they were in every student's apartment, at the university, and in the glassblowing studios; they were everywhere. I thought it would be interesting to alter the "stolen" LUX glasses with hand-drawn imagery that was inspired by this bikerish, voodish, cheap college-student bar, and then return them to the bar. This is an ongoing project and the LUX lounge still has no idea who is doing this to their glassware.
